DL Series Backup and Recovery Appliances Product Notification

Thank you for your continued support of Quest solutions.

On April 30, 2018, Quest discontinued the sale of the DL appliances. Hardware warranty of the DL appliances have all expired as of April 30, 2023. Customers running Rapid Recovery on DL appliances should consider replacing the hardware. Replacing the DL appliance hardware also requires that Rapid Recovery licenses are switched to software only licenses, which are not tied to specific hardware. 

Quest is not able to further extend the support of DL appliances hardware. Quest will continue to support the Rapid Recovery software, according to the maintenance end date of your current maintenance agreement.

What you need to do:

  • Please contact sales to arrange the updated software only licenses.
