How to create a dedicated tenant service account to grant consents used by ODM -
Description
This article covers the topic of creating a service account in an Office 365 tenant that will be used to grant ODM consents for the Projects section. (This guide does not cover ODM DirSync, ODMAD, Domain Rewrite Domain Move etc.)
ODM documentation uses the term Tenant Administrator as the account performing the migration. This is a dedicated Service Account in Entra ID for the source or target tenants that is assigned the Global administrator security role and has required access to the tenant.
Note: This tenant service account cannot be synchronized from on premises Active Directory, it must be a cloud only account.
